What prevents a water ...[text shortened]... to the region? Can that be built?
Also, dig resevoirs. And, hand out solar water purifiers.
Now, just write your Congressmen and hope for the best.

I disagree. It's not just the moral question, though I do believe the whole world has a responsibility to mitigate suffering on this level. What happens in other countries do impact us economically.
Should we expect all the other nations to be doing this sort of thing? What if they don't?
