What the hell did we ever do to them?
A mass human migration into once was their hunting and breeding areas over the last few centuries might have something to do with it.
@shavixmir saidIt is not their fault they have a high body temperature. It is a good adaptation.

Why do you think we often have high fevers when we get a virus? High body temp helps fight the virus. People used to try to bring down a fever as if it is a bad thing. It isn't.

Birds have higher body temp than bats. That is why they have to lay eggs according to PBS' Nature. Their body temp is too high for an embryo to grow according to them.

@shavixmir saidNo, I never said that and it would be stupid if I did. Egg layers used to be cold blooded. Laying eggs simply allowed them to evolve higher body temps than would otherwise be possible.
Okay… the body temperature of a bird is why it lays eggs?
I mean… a platypus lays eggs…
And elephants which have temperatures similar to the coolest birds don’t lay eggs.
And frogs lay eggs. They’re not warm.
What the hell are you on about?
Stop misquoting me. Quoting someone else that used words carelessly does not represent my opinion on the matter. You lie even when you don't have to. You abnormal freak!
@metal-brain saidWait a minute… birds used to be cold blooded?

What are you babbling on about?
@shavixmir saidNo, they evolved from cold blooded creatures, reptiles.

What sort of proof do you have for this?
It isn't mentioned in the bible.
@shavixmir saidEvolution.

Look it up.
@metal-brain saidGood.
NO!
So, these reptiles... dinosaurs or something? All died out in a meteorite explosion and then evolved from cold blooded reptiles into feathered birds.
How exactly did that happen then? Or, are you just speculating again?

@shavixmir saidDinosaurs were not reptiles. They were warm blooded just like birds are today.
Good.

@metal-brain saidBut wait. You wrote that birds evolved from cold blooded reptiles. But your link leads to birds evolving from dinosaurs. Which, according to you, are warm blooded.

It surely can’t be both?
