Do you suppose it could have something to do with [absurd mud-slinging to avoid answering question here]?

Because Israeli passports in Dubai would attract too much attention. Europeans go to Dubai for investment and business deals all the time.

actually, there is this policy in place that people travelling with Israeli passports may not be granted an entry to UAE (or was it Saudi Arabia). Wasn't there an incident last year with the Dubai women's tennis tournament?

same (apparently) rules applies if you had visited Israel, our boss has two UK passports and when travelling to Dubai he never uses the one with a stamp from Israel

UAE FAQ
Israel - Israeli stamps in your passport

*Israeli stamp in passport when entering Dubai - despite what you might hear or read, it shouldn't normally be a problem.
* Visas are not normally issued to Israeli passport holders though.

+ some experts on BBC mentioned that travelling with European/UK passports is easier, for you have more visa-free countries, i.e. those passports could've been used in some other instances as well.

Probably just to avoid attracting attention. Also, the Dubai authorities don't want any trouble with say the French government, so they are more likely to not screen those people very thoroughly.

yes there are many Islamic countries which have no diplomatic ties with Israel, and thus no travel Visa can be issued from diplomatic enclave. Also i read somewhere that New Zealand withdrew the issuing of Visa for the same practice which our friends in Mossad may have been guilty of, fraudulently copying the passports of foreign nationals.

Nobody is positive Mossad had anything to do with it yet!

They could be totally innocent and I hope that happens so the people on this forum can be properly seen as the media duped yuppies that they are.

SO QUICK to assume it's Mossad and call them terrorists.

I should have known better to assume all these people who whine all day about UN protocol would believe in something like innocent until proven guilty.

I think the israeli ambassador's response when brought before the UK Foreign Office was that there was no proof it was Mossad.

Not the most resounding of denials, really....

Of course the Israelis would say that it wasn't an Israeli job. They also blamed the Rafiq Hariri assassination on the Syrians, the Bashir Gemayel assassination on the Palestinians, and the Gaza war on Hamas. They don't have a great track record of accepting culpability.
