And what does the government actually need to do before the people decide to take up arms and put a stop to it?

Don’t you have the 2nd amendment precisely to be able to stop your government from doing what it’s doing?

What are you waiting for, exactly?
They're waiting for the price of gasoline to break $5 at the pump. When Americans vote, "it's the economy, stupid!"

Yup, they really are prepared to watch democracy die, so long as they can still afford gas at the pumps.

Most Americans support Trump and his policies, therefore from the point of view of the typical American, there is no tyranny.
Evidence this.

The man won election by a wide margin 3 times in a row. The second time because of illegal rigging and miscounting, as was discovered later, Biden won.

People are fed up with lies, political meandering, and lawyers talking about international law nonsense. All this while people are dying. Most politicians and lawyers are the two biggest groups of crooks and liars in the world.

Trump is breath of fresh air for many all over the world who are abused and waiting on someone with some balls to help them.

They had their chance to do so in November of 2024. Many people didn't bother to vote, and now we're stuck with him.

They are waiting for no voter ID so they can cheat their way into power.
They are also waiting for Donald to finally complete having made DC the safest city in the country, so that when they take over, they will not have to skip around criminally

A good question, Rat.

No, most Americans do not support Trump or his policies. An example: 70% opposed US military action against Venezuela in this poll (https://thehill.com/policy/defense/5619921-americans-oppose-venezuela-military-action/)l they opposed it by a 63% to 25% margin in this one (https://www.politico.com/news/2025/12/17/poll-trump-military-action-in-venezuela-00695694).

You really are a fountain of completely incorrect misinformation.
This one’s thinks that Trump should not have taken Maduro out,
To wit, that Madero should still be torturing prisoners and all of the other vile daily activities. He does that probably be even before he has his breakfast.
This one also thinks we should not have voter ID. This one also never answers a question about imposing socialism on New York City.

Don’t blame me… I wanted to have Kamala Harris be in charge of our country and of our global activities, with waltz in the background in case she died.
Walz. What a menagerie are you people.

Yes, there is a good chance that you’ll get caught or worse. Standing up against tyranny was never said to be easy. But your government is once again destabilising the world. Don’t you think you - the population - have a responsibility towards the rest of the world?

Don’t you think someone should’ve killed Hitler? Or Putin?
DE stabilizing the world.

Well, I’ll be damned, who knew.

This is why we have King Moses on the forum

The problem is in your use of the word 'tyrannical'. Most Americans support Trump and his policies, therefore from the point of view of the typical American, there is no tyranny. From the point of view of the world also, there is no tyranny. The US is still the #1 destination for people who live under actual true tyrannical governments, seeking asylum. That should tell yo ...[text shortened]... ed. These are the signs of tyranny.

Maybe your problem is Trump Hating Syndrome... work on that.
"Most Americans support Trump and his policies"???

You have a very weird definition of 'most'. Maybe you're using the Trump definition.

Like how his first inauguration had "the largest crowd ever".

And people still come here because they understand that American presidents come and go. They can live better under this one IN America than in their home country.

They understand that America CAN be great again, once we take out the garbage.
