The non-prosecution agreement promising in plain language that the United States would not prosecute any co-conspirator of Jeffrey Epstein. Maxwell was a co-conspirator. What is the SCOTUS going to say? That words in documents do not matter? The whole profession of law is based on the words in documents.
That is why I think Maxwell will be released from prison. Not necessarily because of a presidential pardon, but because SCOTUS will be forced to rule in her favor. Trump does not want the SCOTUS to hear the case, but how can they not hear it when the document clearly says that the United States would not prosecute any co-conspirator of Jeffrey Epstein?
It does not say any co-conspirator except Madam Maxwell. To not hear the case would be judicial prejudice.
So now you know why many people were not prosecuted, but not why Maxwell was. Why was she the only co-conspirator to be charged and convicted? To give the appearance of justice. Everyone was asking why she was not in prison if the allegations against her were true.
Maybe she deserves to be in prison, but maybe Bill Cosby deserves to be too. This is not about what she deserves. It is about what is legal. Bill Cosby was illegally prosecuted and that is why he got out of prison. The same thing happened to Maxwell. She was illegally prosecuted.
What Acosta did was wrong too, but it was legal because a judge accepted it. He gave immunity from prosecution to all co-conspirators. That is the real scandal. And who told him to back off because Epstein "belonged to intelligence"? Who did he take orders from?
