You can just scan this to get the idea, just look for the sentence..." A family of four in New Jersey can receive benefits of $108,000 with no one working". "In Connecticut, a family with income over $330k Can receive Obamacare subsidies."
So, weigh in, please? Do you think this is OK? Is it good, is it bad, or wrong, or right? Shav need not comment, as this is a beautiful thing in his little country.

So, if this keeps up, which it CERTAINLY will, you fellers will get what you wish for. Govt dependency, its citizens aint gotta do nuthin. Yeah, I know, a real head-scratcher, how can you say what you really think without incurring the wrath of Kev and Marauder and socialist Obama.
Is our economy headed in the wrong direction? The right direction?
People are tired of physically hard jobs that only pay enough to live paycheck to paycheck. It's a scam as old as time. Pay only enough so they have to keep working for you.
Most suits have never done a day of physical labor in their life. Nor could they because they are as soft as baby shyt.
Don't worry though, the illegals will do the hard jobs and your taxes will pay my welfare.
Deal with it, it's not going anywhere...or realize the fat suit sitting in his air conditioned office doesn't need millions a year when the real workers are doing the physical work.
Pay distribution needs an overhaul.
Have you ever done back breaking work Joe?
@booger saidOnly in early years, scraped old cement off of old used bricks at a brickyard, which the guy in the office (the ma who invested, took risk,) sold at a profit. So I said to myself, I can do that too. So, my brother and I started up a pecan business in S Georgia and got younger kids, for 25cents an hour to go all around and gather them up. We sold them door to door, and made a great profit. In the later years we were gone but encouraged them to try doing it....I don't know if they did. I learned a lot, and decided office life was a bit better, mostly because one can be his own boss. No govt problems back then, so success was much simpler. Takes more thinking and good advisors these days. I think most young people are not into risk, which is an element of success in my book. J Paul Getty used to say 'Buy when everyone is selling, Sell when everyone is buying!" Naaa, let us just be satisfied and go to the local pub after work. I never really did that. Too busy!

You are right about physical jobs, but they should be temporary, and then another guy fills that slot when you move along. I love this country.
I don't get your scam comment. If I want to hire someone to do a job, I look for the best price, what they will charge.
......................don't you? You don't?
Define pay distribution ?
@AverageJoe1
Pay distribution.
A company looks at cost and profits and decides who gets what as far as pay goes.
Right now it's pay the laborers minimum and pay the suits maximum.
That has to change. Without workers the suit makes nothing. Workers don't need the suits to work.
I could renovate your house and make it into a million dollar home and I don't need a suit boss to do it. The suit boss can't renovate your home. He needs workers.
Therefore the workers are the real value to a company. Not some fat cat talking on the phone about his tee times at the country club.
For the record I think work is for suckers and I have gone over 20 years without working a real tax paying job but I do understand the reasoning why people are fed up with the low pay work situation.
@averagejoe1 saidWages have dropped when adjusted for inflation. We are tired of getting screwed, but that doesn't mean I am getting any welfare. Parents who have children have always gotten a generous amount of welfare. It is people without children who have to pull their own weight.
You can just scan this to get the idea, just look for the sentence..." A family of four in New Jersey can receive benefits of $108,000 with no one working". "In Connecticut, a family with income over $330k Can receive Obamacare subsidies."

Big corporations get the most welfare and they don't even need it. Start there and work your way down.
@averagejoe1 saidCapitalism makes it easier to make money without working. The government will enforce any contracts. Just let that passive income pour in.

Nicely stated.
@averagejoe1 saidJoe, your lies are too obvious. You've never scraped a hangnail in your life.

@booger saidYour first sentence ....a company is stockholders who have invested their money, taken a risk, to get a return on their investment. The stockholders do indeed decide who gets what at the end of the day. Some HUGE bonuses, and maybe some slackers are let go. Hopefully you agree up to this point.

So, the best workers make the company profitable and advance, some all the way up to being on the board. They wear suits. Hopefully you agree up to this point? I wish you respond straight.
As to the million dollar house, backatcha......I pay you to build my house, say $300k labor, $700k materials. It is worth 2.2M in a year. When I sell the house, should you partake of any of the 1.2 million dollar profit that I make????? Why can liberals not answer simple questions like this ?" You will NOT answer this question.
As to 'he needs workers',,,,,who do you think will nail the shingles on the roof? The boss? The suit?
@averagejoe1 saidAre you having a difficult time getting people to work for you?

How can a family of 4 get 108.000$ (a year, I presume) on benefits?
Nice of you (and perhaps your article) to state this, but how do they do that?
So many people in the US live in poverty, have to rely on soup kitchens, lose their homes, live in trailer parks… how does this family of 4 live like royalty without working?
How?
Without that properly explained, I will not accept the conclusion.
@shavixmir saidI too am in amazement, I did not fully read the article, we are all up to our ears with incoming info, but rely on the source, the author. The New York Post put out the Hunter story, many claimed it was a lie. So, you could claim this guy is lying I guess.

@shallow-blue saidLet’s say I haven’t. That is not germane to the issue, don’t you see. The issue is not about me, it is about the premise of work in all different facets of life. You fellas seem to imply that someone that has a business should share all his profits, when he has taken all the risk, borrowed all the money, and takes all of the hits of the business, when the employees have no responsibility or liability . You simply do not make any sense . Of course, he certainly should pay employees what they are worth. One guy might be worth $200 an hour and one guy worth $40 an hour. You seem to be wanting to change that around and for some reason when it makes perfect sense to me. Where do we differ?
Joe, your lies are too obvious. You've never scraped a hangnail in your life.
@athousandyoung saidMore plainly put, capitalism makes it easier to do what one wants to do….. a person can do what they want to do…start a business or work for someone else. Or, of course, feed off of the government.
Capitalism makes it easier to make money without working. The government will enforce any contracts. Just let that passive income pour in.
