Pretty Impressive! An American war hero, who prosecuted all types of high profile criminals. Mueller was praised by Republicans and Democrats alike for his strong work ethic, and decades of dedication to the enforcement of the law.
So, what happened??
Now, all of a sudden, when Rob Rosenstein, a Trump appointed Republican finds sufficient legal cause to appoint a special counsel to investigate Russian interference in the 2016 election, Mueller is branded a villain by Trump supporters for carrying out a partisan "witch hunt" against Donald Trump.

It is a time tested tactic for lawyers with poor defenses to then attack the prosecutor. It's standard practice in law. Doesn't usually work but when you have nothing for defense, you attack the prosecutor.

Here is why:

Mueller and team went on a witch hunt to ruin an innocent man's life. His name is Steve Hatfill. Then they drove another man (Ivins) to suicide (or possibly assassinated) to cover up for the real anthrax mailer.
While Hatfill was in Europe a package with anthrax was sent from Europe to the USA. Since we now know he was innocent he was obviously framed.
Ivins could not possibly have done it alone and likely had nothing to do with it at all. Even senators who were mailed anthrax letters said that.

You figure ruining a man's life means that he is doing the same with Manafort or Cohen, and by association, Trump, since Trump is so OBVIOUSLY innocent of all charges and is pure of heart, empathic, truly in it for the little guy, they should NEVER mount ANY kind of attack on such a social hero, right?

Does past conduct mean nothing?
Hey, I get it. It is possible for Mueller to finally conduct an investigation fairly for a change. Maybe he learned from his mistakes and he is a better investigator because of it. Anything is possible.
Kim Jong Un may have learned from his mistakes too. Let's just forget about all that history and trust him. We should not judge a guy based on past stuff. Let Noriega out of prison and maybe El Chapo Guzman too. We can all smoke weed together.
