And every time Hamas kills somebody, everyone's all wailing.

I mean, come on! Israel just let its true colors shine through, and everyone here is la-la-la'ing and not really caring.

But, if it was Hamas that shot him with two tear gas canisters in the face, everyone would be screaming in my metaphorical forum face.

There's no such thread because you chose to whine and complain instead of offering up the topic for debate.

Ooh - this is one of those impossible questions ... because _this_ is a thread about Tristan Anderson.

This event did not make headlines in England. The Guardian newspaper did carry it, but I missed it at the time:

http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2009/mar/15/israel-hamas-gaza-weapons

I _have_ heard of Rachel Corrie (who, I believe, worked for a similar organisation and was killed several years ago), so I don't think that there is a UK-based-news bias against reporting this sort of thing.

Unless I'm mistaken, Anderson, unlike Corrie, who worked for ISM (www.palsolidarity.org), was not working for any major organization at the time of his attempted murder.

Some of these threads aren't debates, the way people post on them.
