This event did not make headlines in England. The Guardian newspaper did carry it, but I missed it at the time:

I _have_ heard of Rachel Corrie (who, I believe, worked for a similar organisation and was killed several years ago), so I don't think that there is a UK-based-news bias against reporting this sort of thing.
