Vote democrat because they think obama isn't a christian
Vote Republican because they think obama is muslim

Vote democrat because they think obama isn't muslim

Vote democrat because black men have big knobs
Vote republican because they are intimidated by big black knobs

Vote democrat because black men have big knobs
Vote republican because McCain reminds them of their father

Don't know whether other people in the world vote because of their prejudices. I can speak for Canadians though. MOST of us vote based on the issues. We just had a federal election.
One guy was French, One guy was English, One guy was a woman, One guy had a moustache.
People didn't believe the french guy was a strong enough leader. he didn't inspire people. He wanted to bring in a taxation plan that was not favoured by any of our provinces. THe Mustache guy wanted to raise taxes on small businesses in the time of a recession....that just wasn't going to work either. No one really trusted the English guy based on his previous 2 years in power and his stance on art/culture, reducing the GST, extending military timelines in afghanistan, and his total indifference to the manufacturing sector in Ontario. The woman was running only on an environmental platform and therefore her party could not be taken as a serious candidate to run the country.
In essence, we voted based on the ISSUES that mattered to us. Not based on the junk that is being posted in these forums at the moment.
EDIT: I am trying to give americans more credit than you americans seem to want to give to your fellow americans. Maybe I should take your cue and also think you and your fellow americans are a bunch of shallow ignorant idiots who couldn't possibly be trusted to think for themselves.....better?

But, how do you expect me to know why people in, France or Egypt or Japan or Tunisia vote when they aren't on here spouting off about the reasons they think their fellow countrymen vote?
The yanks were on here writing post after post about why they think other americans are voting they way they are.
