Because, lies abound on both sides. Let us stipulate..its a wash. Biden says that gas was over $5 when he took office. It was $2.39.
So he lied, your beloved president, Hillary lied, some repubs have lied. Here is the link. No responses needed here. It is just an announcement. I hope Suzianne is happy with the source, Snopes. ...and, with the video.

one said gas was 5 dollars.
the other said thousands of illegal votes were cast and the US basically has an illegal president.
it's a wash.
let's just quit saying "your side lied". We must move forward together. just forget about the past.

@Earl-of-Trumps
Constantly trying to minimize the Jan 6th debacle is getting kind of pathetic !!
I walked my dog this morning. Oh wait !! I don't have a dog !! I lied.
Trump 2024 !!
@mghrn55 saidSlanthead. Yeah, and I told my grand mother that her hair looks beautiful. Of course, that was a lie.

Here is the difference in our two lies and that of the Biden creature. There is no intent to deceive. Biden is clearly deceiving voters, to look like a gas-price genius to them. So that he will score a presidency based upon a lie.
It is a flat out scurrilous lie.
I hope that that helps you start to understand things better.
@zahlanzi saidSo here is Zahlanzi, or was it Mg, zzzzz, who is putting himself forth as the adjudicator of how serious a lie is. This forum seems to have no teeth. Someone like myself posts a fact, regarding a certain person about a certain issue, and the Zahlanzis of the world come back with January 6, and Trump just one more time. I’m afraid we will all get tired and drift away from this Forum.

Forgetting Sha-laundry’s irrelevance , , has anyone got a comment on the lie that Joe Biden told to persuade voters to believe that he has gas under control.

@averagejoe1 saidWhen it comes to lying, no one comes close to that clown in 2016-2020.

Either you missed the point, or you drank too much KoolAid.
Now perhaps you will drop your other lie that a GOP run administration will somehow magically bring gas back down to $2.50.
Or maybe you are not lying, just dreaming.

@earl-of-trumps saidYour Post: a Lie.
But AJoe, how can we all forget - "The 2016 election was hacked"
And I bother to ask because democrats still believe it, still live it.
Response follows:
Really? Who is saying this? Maybe someone is saying it, but by the day Trump was sworn in only 28% of Democrats were "not confident" that votes were counted accurately in the 2016 election. This means the percentage of Democrats who believed the election has "hacked" must be quite a bit less than 28%. "Hacking" an election implies criminality was involved, whereas an "inaccurate vote count" does not.
Scroll through here to find some facts on the matter, including the Morning Consult poll whence my 28% figure above derives:

Grand Jury Indicts 12 Russian Intelligence Officers for Hacking Offenses Related to the 2016 Election

So there ya go.
Even the DoJ agrees! The election was hacked. Only NOBODY can show me where it was hacked,
good luck if you wish to try.

Response follows:
Based on poll numbers, I think we can put the percentage of Democrats who believe the 2016 election was stolen at somewhere well south of 25% in January 2017. It can only have gone down from there by now. Find a poll by a reputable organization with higher numbers, or any numbers at all.
But just last month a poll found fully 61% of Republicans still think the 2020 election was outright stolen.

Now you have to pick your brand of crazy:
1) The grand jury you mentioned was entirely made up of butt-hurt Democrats who wanted revenge for Trump winning in 2016. Mmm hmm...
2) The grand jury acted on good faith based on the evidence, but Democrats are idiots for believing that it did so. Yum.
3) Never mind a strong majority of Republicans screaming about a stolen election in 2020, because a small minority of Democrats believing the same about the 2016 election is just as bad or worse. *derp*
I'm running on the assumption that you're implying #3, since it accords with your modus operandi. This I brand a false equivalency for reasons obvious to anyone who is not crazy.
By the way, you can be indicted for hacking offenses even if your hacking attempts were unsuccessful. Also an indictment is not the same as a conviction. If there is sufficient evidence of hacking or attempted hacking to issue an indictment, then that evidence may not be released to the public for security reasons. If the Russians indeed found a significant weakness, or potential weakness, in the election system, the DoJ is hardly going to advertise it so as to invite copycats to pick up where the Russians left off.

@soothfast saidNot here to join another debate that will change no one's mind. But I will say that your "false equivalency" argument is not obvious to me.

Yet I still manage to function in society and have a good deal of what most would call "success" in life.
I guess I'm one of those "high functioning" kind of crazies that doesn't need to be in an institution.
I'm sure someone will join in and both patiently and lovingly explain to me how stupid I am.
@techsouth saidA small percentage of Democrats believing Russians compromised the 2016 election results is being held up as evidence that "Dems do it too," in answer to the fact that over 60 percent of Republicans to this day believe -- without evidence -- that the 2020 election was stolen.
