It's already bad enough that some clock me as looking Jewish in yet another wave of American anti-Semitism, but as an unaltered* gay white older male, I hope I will not become the punching bag or piñata** for other people's misdeeds.

* I object to being calls "cis" -- I am not a molecule. So much of what is wrong with public opinion of the "queer" community (a false agglomeration) can be attributed to nerdy academics who are not helping anyone's acceptance with their weird terminology.
** Thank goodness for the Latinos and Hispanics, though, and for Catholics and Christians in general.
