You want the "freedom" to not have to pay into a socialized medical system, and expect this "freedom" to be extended to everyone else who may have a different idea of what freedom is. Others find freedom in having some security from being totally ruined by a health issue.

You can add any number of items to this list that are of a similar nature. The vast majority of any sane population wants public schools, public transportation, and so on. Your contention is usually the same: though an Island Of One, you reckon your desire not to be a part of society as greater than the needs of a society to be a society.

So you are anti-democratic, to be sure, and generally slum around this forum poodling up to authoritarian Republicans (in office or hereabouts) to a degree only matched by your bitching about Democrats. Hardly a libertarian are you. You're not worthy to be Ayn Rand's tampon.

I make no claims to being an Objectivist, there are clashes between Objectivism and Libertarianism, but you'd rather throw names around as a bluff.

The issue with these 'different freedoms' like socialized healthcare is that you want the freedom to put shackles on your fellow man, that's why you have to tack the word 'different' onto the word 'freedom' because you know 'different freedom' is as removed from actual freedom as to qualify for 1984 double speak.

In this internet age all those that believe in a collectivist model healthcare system should get together and create one, run one, gather like minded people, if it's such a great idea people are going to be banging down the door trying to join. There's never been a better time, I wish you luck.

Edit: I'm all for the end of the two party seesaw, every election the people on the edge are told you must vote X to keep Y out. You may not really support X but just put that aside, it's vitally important this election to keep Y out. Put your principles in a box over there, we have to make sure Y does not get in.
