I find Marauder curiously supportive of these people illegally in our country, and our paying for , and tolerating , them. What is the deal?

Racist Bigot and Wasp are not germane to this thread. A person could be a bigot and still write to this thread. It is about the Wall. People breaking our laws, our trying to stop it.
Again, Marauder is flailing, he cannot get footing when we lay out these facts, he needs to huddle with Suzianne, she can help him.
You're bizarre, Joe. The whole premise of the thread i.e. that people here "illegally" are somehow taking away hotel rooms from someone more "deserving" IYO has been blown to smithereens yet you somehow persist in pretending the whole thing wasn't the lie it obviously was.

Maybe you were too lazy or stupid to read the link I provided, but here's the relevant passage:

"The migrants housed in Massachusetts’ hotels, however, are not in the country illegally. To qualify for housing, they must have documentation, and “most have been legally paroled into the United States by federal officials,” the newspaper wrote in a follow-up story." https://www.masslive.com/politics/2023/10/vets-bumped-for-migrants-desantis-slams-mass-in-flap-over-hotel-rooms-and-army-navy-game.html

You saying the same lie over and over and over again doesn't transform it into the truth.

There are many provisions of US immigration laws that allow migrants and/or refugees to remain in the country.

Sober up, Mott.

You guys got caught being extremely gullible yet again. The people being housed in these hotels aren't here "illegally" but rather are in compliance with US immigration laws.

A wall, of course, isn't needed but the issue of illegal immigration has nothing to do with this thread.
A wall of course is not needed.

Are you a Bot? A cryptic creature constructed in a basement?

What a smart-ass remark, as if our citizens are not more deserving than invaders who come from countries of jungles into our country.
Real defecation Marsuder. Sickening. Everyone, this creature is no lawyer.

Your ignorant bigotry towards migrants isn't anything new. Towards the Irish immigrants 1800s:

"The Irish were stereotyped as uncivilized, unskilled and impoverished and were forced to work at the least desired occupations and live in crowded ethnic ghettoes. Irish immigrants often found that they were not welcome in America; many ads for employment were accompanied by the order "NO IRISH NEED APPLY." "

http://www.victoriana.com/history/irish-political-cartoons.html

Towards Italians in the early 20th Century:

"What prompted this attitude toward Italians as swarthy, lawless, poverty ridden drones upon the American culture and society? What caused the environment in which a poor immigrant becomes a “dago” or “wop” while a wealthy one is immediately associated with the Mafia, and where the stereotyped organ grinder, anarchist, and mafioso become synonomous with the Italian?"

https://pressbooks.ulib.csuohio.edu/italian-americans-and-their-communities-of-cleveland/chapter/chapter-6-anti-italian-sentiment-in-america/

Asians:

"in the United States, Asian Americans have long been considered as a threat to a nation that promoted a whites-only immigration policy. They were called a “yellow peril”: unclean and unfit for citizenship in America."

Joe doesn't look at links esp. if they prove the propaganda he has gullibly swallowed whole wrong.

They have to pay social security without receiving it. They have to be legal to receive it. It helps keep SS propped up.

It's from 2018 but here's an enlightening article from the conservative Cato Institute debunking many of the arguments against immigration (esp. dumb racist ones): https://www.cato.org/blog/14-most-common-arguments-against-immigration-why-theyre-wrong

Please. You hold most of your fellow US citizens in as much contempt as the "aliens" you're continually screeching about.

@averagejoe1 said
They are not migrants once they have migrated, so that gets that out of the way. One is not a walker when he stops walking. We are left with their status as aliens. Since they are not legalized , they must be illegal.
So that leads to your next logical response...Should our citizens be pushed out of A N Y T H I N G in our country to make way for these people?. People we don't even know, and people to whom we owe nothing?
No links, please.
They’re not? When are they migrants then? The fleeting second from A to B?

You fellers need to look up definitions of 'migrant' and 'alien'

Ask Marauder by what process they became 'legal'.

Marauder BTW does not believe in the Bill of Rights. Be careful.
