The Ten Commandments, which are now displayed in every classroom in Texas, endorse slavery:

"You shall not covet your neighbor’s house. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his male or female slaves, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor."

Harari: "God is perfectly OK with people owning slaves. It's just wrong to covet the slaves of your neighbor." 😆

Harari: "Democracy is based on trust whereas dictatorship is based on terror. If you systematically destroy trust in institutions... some people think that this is liberating the people from these institutions. It's not. When you destroy all trust, the only thing that can still work is dictatorship." 😆

Yuval Harari does not know that the 10 commandments and in fact the entire first 5 books of the Bible were specifically for the Jews.

If that's truly the case (which I doubt, but I'm not Christian, so...) I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that a lot of people have missed that. 😆

A lot of people dont read the Bible. They just go to church and listen to the pastor. If you read all over the New Testament, many many chapters start with " Say to the people of Israel.

In Exodus 20 before the 10 commandments are given And God spake all these words, saying, I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
(Exo 20:1-3 KJV)
... So the commandments are given to those who God brought out of the land of Egypt.

The real proof is that nowhere does Jesus or Paul repeat the 10 commandments. In fact Paul goes into great detail about the passing of the Old Law and ushering of the New Covenant, based on Christ.

But all that is more than you need to know.
