I think the situation would improve if conservative politicians stop broadcasting the fake news that we have an open border. Instead they should say "1.7 million migrants were apprehended at the border last year. Don't come here." That's what the Biden administration is saying. More than a million apprehensions isn't what an open border is.

But I guess politics wins over solving problems.
