Zelensky and Nord Stream sabotage

Debates

Well, this is an interesting twist in the Ukraine-Russia war.

It looks like there is proof that Ukrainians sabotaged the Nord Stream pipeline… and that Zelensky gave the go ahead.

So, the West is supporting a party which caused a gas price crisis and blamed Russia for the sabotage.

And the Dutch news (NOS) reported that the MIVD (Durch military intelligence) knew of the plan beforehand and sent the info on to the CIA… both doing nothing to stop it…

Mhmmm…

Could and should this have consequences?

Russia's targeting Ukrainian wheat exports. This seems like an appropriate proportional response.

Well, not really.
Europe is supporting Ukraine with money and weapons and Ukraine caused a gas crisis in Europe.

Surely you see how that sits rather uncomfortably?
Add to this that the extreme right in Europe don’t want to support Ukraine…

Should the West stop supporting Ukraine, in your opinion?

Interesting how this comes out just as Ukraine made its largest gains since the war started. Almost like someone was holding a trump card just for this moment

I don’t know.
I can’t really support either party in this conflict.

Thinking of the EU’s interests, I don’t really think a country which pushes the EU into a gas crisis should be joining any time soon. That’s a very wrong message to be sending.

But to Russia you don’t want to be sending love roses either.

I didn’t think about the timing, but that is interesting.

Europe is supporting Ukraine with money and weapons out of self interest not because they are doing Ukraine a favor.

I’m not debating Europe’s motives.
But supporting (for whatever reason) a country which causes a major gas crisis by sabotaging a gas pipeline isn’t a healthy image to send.

Have you noticed that Germany was hurt badly by that and they just took it up the ass and are not complaining? I don't have to see the puppet strings to know they are there. Germany is the western empire's little bitch. Isn't it obvious?

Yeah… historically speaking, that’s been their role.

Since the end of WW2 it has. Nobody invades and occupies a country unless they intend to control it. Germany has no sovereignty. That is why they take it up the ass.

Ukraine won't be joining the EU or NATO. They're merely a proxy against what the West views as a threat to their security.
