Bob Dylan covering a great Johnny Cash song? Nuff said about your credibility.

A rapper is probably working on it as we speak.

Yeah, I know. But Zimmerman was Dylan's real name. Hence the thread.

Duh, I forgot that. You do have a sense of humor or at least irony.

I expect you to give your own initial post a thumb's down as recompense.

I still find Dylan covering a Cash song reprehensible. Although thinking about it both Dylan and Cash spent probably most of their adult lives under the influence of drugs and booze.

You should have held off a bit longer before revealing your ironic bit of news.

It is said that Dylan, Cash and Bowie did their best work
when they were off their heads.

But it just goes to show you that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

I like all three artists listed above. But I prefer to hear them do their own work.

The most cringing moment I ever heard was Richie Blackmore who was the
guitarist with Deep Purple and later Rainbow playing the song

"will you still love me tomorrow?" at a live concert for a young
couple in the audience.

If anyone would like to hear Richie Blackmore playing that
it is available on a double CD entitled

Rainbow Anthology 1975 - 1984. By Polydor.

Great stuff on there, apart from the song listed above.

I had planned to. But all the grief you gave me caused me to tip my hand early. 😠

Couldn't help but make you feel ashamed,
To live in a land,
Where Justice is a game
