Because there is a new breed of wealthy. Liberals.
These people are innovative and they think outside the box.
The 21st century is no longer the domain of old wealth bound by 1950 social values.
Dynamic wealth is replacing static wealth. Gates, Bezos, Musk, Zuckerberg.
And these people are not socialists. They represent new thinking.
And they are Capitalists. But they don't worship Capitalism.
For example, seeking new ways of meeting our energy needs replacing the "drill baby drill" mindset.
And for the most part, they are centrists, which is where the democrats are.
I know social conservatives are frightened of the 21st century.

Maybe I shouldn't be trying to answer your question for you. It's better for you to figure it our for yourself.
But I put in my 2 cents worth anyways. It is a debate forum after all.
