as for what I've done for the poor recently... not much. But I have recently quit a $60,000 a year job to retrain to go work with the worlds poorest. I'm just not trained yet.

Was the money raised by donations from affluent members?
If not was it by jumbles sales, events etc?
If so just how much money was donated by us anti-christians?
Exactly, you have no idea.
Personally speaking until problems in our own home country are sorted I believe that charity begins at home.
Surely something as wonderful as this has hit the local press? Can we get a link to the story about your wonderful church?
