Yes, many thanks to Phlabs & family for opening their Rhode Island estate to a bunch of suspect individuals from teh intarwebs. My wife and I had a great time from the second the first wood was pushed 'til the last piece was an ember in the bonfire. It was really a blast to meet so many forum goers and internet opponents in meatspace.
As for this pre-BBQ drinking thing Deucer keeps going on about, I have no recollection of such an event. But I do have a new found and inexplicable fear of Canadian Scotsman bearing Glennfiddich.

Back in New Jersey now getting the bags packed for the journey home tomorrow. We had a great time at the BBQ, and an equally great drunken yeehaa at the pre-BBQ party. Thanks to Stees, and Mr & Mrs Ichybonov for getting us to and from the BBQ. Thanks to Ichy and wife for an excellent Sunday aswell and for dropping us off at the station. Thanks to everyone for making me and my Wife welcome in RI and for putting up with my terrible singing. Special thanks goes to the owner of the Hotel who kindly dropped the charges and allowed us to be deported safely.
To Phlabs, Deucer, Handy, Busygirl, BugsBunny, Ichybonov, Greatbigstees, and everyone else...Thank you, it was a good experience for us. Any pics of the BBQ, let me know so i can put them together in a vid maybe 🙂

We were having so much fun I forgot to even try the laptop until we were about to pack it in for the day. Will have to practice in advance with Skype if we are invited back next year. Thanks to all for a fantastic weekend!
