Hm, aren't the colours part of the layout? And CAW doesn't only have different colours.
Then there is the formatting of a page. Colors, type-faces, images part of the design (like the logo) and so on.
Finally, you have content and it's structure.
But I honestly don't know if this is how layout is considered outside the world of programming graphical user interfaces. You could be right again (in a sense), I suppose. 😞
