I finally after around 4 years on this site made it to 1500 and over!

Well done and good luck at staying over it. The way to stay above 1,500 is to take opponents with lower ratings seriously and not think you are unbeatable they way I didn't as I was pushing 1,800...😉

piece of advice: don't enter a grand split tournament.
i was over 1500 and it started around 16 games all of which i totally screwed up (i was quite distracted with exams as well as being overwhelmed with too many games).
now they're all coming to an end i'm my rating is plummeting back towards 1300... 🙁
