I just got an email from my office saying that 1st December will be on 4th December this year. I thought I'd better let you know.

Thanks for clearing that up. I have a speech and language appointment on the 1st but i won't bother turning up until the 4th 🙄

I don't know. The email only said what I just told you. I would also assume that when 1st December is on 4th December, 4th December needs to be on some other day. Maybe it's on 1st December. This is all a little confusing.

Perhaps the 1st of each month is now on the 4th?
