Just blundered twice in a row. Both will end up losing me 3 material points. No matter how much I look over it, I always realize the move sucked just after I press move.

How about an 'Are you sure?' button comming up after you click the move button. Then you could have and 'Are really sure?' button after that and then an 'Are you positive?' button. After that if you fcuk it up your on your own!
