Just blundered twice in a row. Both will end up losing me 3 material points. No matter how much I look over it, I always realize the move sucked just after I press move.

Solution: Create a fake move button (or use any button which can be pressed without a risk and convince yourself it says "move" ). When you feel you are ready to move, press the fake move button. After realizing that the move sucked and correcting it, press the real move button.

I'll give you the games if it doesn't break "discussing games in progress" rules.

Better solution: only play chess against people that make the same kind of mistake

Just bluff. On your next move make a bigger blunder. Then follow that with some great material sacrifice. Make it look good, then when you lose you have that excuse " I was trying something new".

If it was OTB you could take nyxie's strategy to the next level. If you blunder away material, smirk a little as they move to take it so they think it is a trap.

How about an 'Are you sure?' button comming up after you click the move button. Then you could have and 'Are really sure?' button after that and then an 'Are you positive?' button. After that if you fcuk it up your on your own!

The problem with these ideas is you'd get used to them, and just click through them without looking. We'd need it to only sometimes do that.
