'2008 Dinner Party'

Let's assume you've been given the opportunity of hosting the world
class dinner party of all dinner parties on New Year's Eve, 2008.

You alone have full responsibility for assembling the much anticipated
All Time Guest A-List. You have free rein... contemporaries, historical
figures, fictional characters, mythological heroes, etc. No third party
pressure, quotas, or political correctness. No limitations whatsoever.

Media Interview Questions:

(1) Whom would you invite to this gala event? Reason why, optional.

(2) Whom would you place opposite yourself at the far end of the
banquet table (to keep converation balanced and lively)?

(3) For whom would you reserve the place of honor to your right?

(4) Menu to be served?

I would probably just invite my friends because those historical/present people are probably prats anyway.

4)shrimp cocktail, fruit cocktail, fresh baked bread for starters, then a nice pumpkin bisque or tortellini soup. For the main course, a choice of baked stuffed cod, prime rib (rare), or chicken espanol, all served with herb encrusted baby red potatoes, and steamed asparugus.

"Thy Symposium" by Plato. He invites a bunch of famous dinner guests for a discussion. It's good...give it a read.

Post your result! Mine is:

"Your speed was: 80wpm.

Congratulations! You made no mistakes, practice does make perfect."

(The truth is, I made lots of mistakes, but corrected them immediately.)

No, I think it's his remote control by how much tv he apparently watches. 🙂

Incredible menu... but no Popeye spinach straight from the can?

P.S. Would "western mass" suggest Sturbridge or Stockbridge?
