Create and grow a garden with the help of people who know how. When your garden is properly arranged, it will take care itself with a little help from you to enjoy. Nature finds a way if we let it.

lol

short story, true as much as i can remember
circa 1976/77 i was hitchhiking thru tennessee and landed feet first in a commune
many socialists were there, a smattering of communists and one or two capitalists to balance the scales
there was a communal garden that most all the folks worked
some were quite buff in the buff
i was 23 orbits olde and while i was in possession of two functioning brains, only one did most of the thinking
my imagination was completely consumed with free love and homegrown weed
but they wanted me to work and tasked me with shoveling dirt for fresh latrines

two weeks and i stuck out my thumb again
tennessee state troopers gave me a ride to the mississippi
they made it quite clear i was to continue to head west

thank you dear ghost, for sweet communal garden memories

It is ok to hug trees - they can't detect feelings but they feel the touch! They brought the nature we enjoy today.

Not so much prudish as cautionary.

Bark is rough.

If there are nudist beaches in America, I'd imagine they are closely held secrets by the locals.
