    You are lucky the rip tide didn't carry your butt ten miles out. People die from that. BTW, to get out of it you just swim sideways to the tide. We knew that stuff, we are from Venice Beach🙂 I miss the crazies there....

    Yes. I'm still at 500 meters, but now i can do 500 without stopping. Keeping at that level for a bit, as it's about 30 + minutes or so constant.

    Thanks. It's a slightly bitter sweet moment, as i genuinely thought i'd broke the mile. As it is i was 9.5 meters short.

    I'm going to have to do it again...but not for a while lol.
