Not to steal the thunder of "The Movie Game" but does anyone want to play this game? If so, does everybody know how its played? It's pretty fun, most of the time. I will start :
Isabella Rossellini

You are supposed to find a link within 6 tries (I believe via movies) to Kevin Bacon. I will do this first one and keep in mind, there is most likely a faster connection than the one I will do:
1.Isabella Rossellini and Bruce Willis in "Death Becomes Her"
2.Bruce Willis and John Travolta in "Pulp Fiction"
3.John Travolta and Christian Slater in "Broken Arrow"
4.Christian Slater and Kevin Bacon in "Murder in the First".
So that would be 4 degrees. I generally play with movie actors spanning the last 20-30 years. If somebody knows a different or better way to play please let me know

I want my twenty bucks back too. 🙁

I give up.
Sorry Joe. Too much thought required...
Sam Elliot and Val Kilmer in "Tombstone"
Val Kilmer and Christian Slater in "True Romance"
Christian Slater and Bacon (again) in "Murder in the 1st"
So there 🙂 But you guys might be right about this type of undertaking

1. A Few Good Men
2. JFK
Even though the ones I linked was through "Murder in the 1st", a great deal seem to come through these two. And probably even more now come through "Mystic River" which I haven't seen but it looks like there are a lot of people in it.
Originally posted by Joe FistI was trying to think of one for Mystic River, yeah. He's had good roles, don't get me wrong, but sheesh, I'm glad I never faced this sort of problem on any exams in high school! 🙁

You seem to be a big Tarantino fan.... You've already mentioned Pulp Fiction and True Romance, lol. Most of my knowledge is on older movies and cult films and such, not many of which include Bacon and a lot of which were probably made before he was even born, lol. Why can't it be called Six Degrees of Brando????
Originally posted by seraphimvultureHey Kev, have you ever seen the movie "The Changeling" starring George C Scott. It's a Canadian horror movie from the late 70s/early 80s (I think?). Me and my girlfriend rented it during halloween after a bunch of friends recommended it and it was fantastic. Good classic horror!

Shorter link. And also
Sam Elliott was in Gettysburg (1993) with Kevin (I) Conway
Kevin (I) Conway was in Mystic River (2003) with Kevin Bacon
OK I'll admit I use this handy dandy database that does it for me.

The Kill Bill stuff I am not thrilled with. 6 degrees of Brando would be pretty tough but I think a lot could be tied into the GodFather. Most of the great actors I think of our current era came from that movie or a connection to that movie. What do you think?
