newspaper.The site says the (chinese) great wall is 3000 kilometers long,the newspaper said,it is between 2000 and 10000 kilometers long,depending on the source.Must be a misprint.Or is this true?Surely the exact lentgh must be known,no?[/b]it depends on how you measure it. do you measure damaged and destroed parts. do you measure the parts that over lap. do you count the space short spaces inbetween sections of wall so your measuing how far apart it is. this is probably why the have different numbers.

There's also the question of how thick this wall is. It was meant to keep a lot of people out, wasn't it? It should be big then. A little wall is no use to anyone, no matter what design trickery you may wish to employ. Mind you, the makers of these so called "small walls" would probably tell you differently. Good luck to them.
