Congratulate me or commiserate me, I am the most recent new member of the 10,000+ moves club. It's taken about 10 months. And if I squint carefully the star next to my name has gone a shade darker!

Nearing 30.000 moves and 750 games, but still falling for tricky moves of those knights.

I had over 30,000 moves before I found the forums!
I lose my rook after castling to the queens bishop on a weekly basis

I need another 7,500 moves exactly before my start darkens another shade. Should take about 2 & 1/2-3 months. I wonder how long till 100,000.....🙂.

i am only new to this site, and have played only a couple of games.
it is easy to stop ... if you want to give up your addiction then just stop.
simple.
i would be able to if i was you.
but i have only just started .. and so i have no problem.
