I don't think anything has been misconstrued. I think perhaps you need
to do some introspection on whether your compromising, or being flexible.
I think you need to reanalyze your restraint as well.
Denying impulses is not the same as controlling your behavior. There is
a fundamental flaw with such thinking. I think you'll understand this and
realize what I mean. You'll either be able to correct me in earnest, or
plunge into denial. That is of course, if I'm incorrect at all.
