Back prematurely, Huck, by popular demand. Why? Partly beause you (HandyAndy, Hand of Hecate, Blackamp, Trev's Ghost and a few other treasured members of my loyal opposition) dropped the ball in filling the void/vacuum with your own interesting, lively give and take general forum threads. Also... I missed the daily interaction provided by this durable rhp window on the world.

You know something, Huck? I'm pleased you gave birth to this thread. Not my place to speculate on your motivations but will tell you this... you've succeeded in teaching me something about myself, even though it took a few days for the enlightenment to sink into my square and often thick Swedish blockhead. Reason I was destined to finally discover the RHP General Forum around Christmas Time, 2007, and have been fascinated with the daily opportunities it provides and not quite able to turn my back on them seems twofold: Most important is the people around the globe I wouldn't have otherwise come to appreciate, respect and know. November, 2009, breakthrough is the parallel realization that I simply enjoy operating in intensely competitive/high functioning enemy territory. It's an extension of the enjoyment of still playing chess and, truth be known, probably also fills part of the void of retirement from decades of mortal combat in the trenches and on the front lines of Fortune 100 Corporate America. Thank you.
