He uses the word "leftist" to anything or anyone that he disagrees with. But the other poster was right: I don't think he has read Chomsky, otherwise, why the insane comment? And how can he disagree with something he hasn't read?

in my teens I had the usual philosophical/political phase. I'd heard some chomsky stuff on human rights etc, and decided to get some chomsky from the library. the only book available was 'studies on semantics in generative grammar'.
oh dear. it was horrible, I had absolutely no idea what it was about. I didn't understand anything in that book, not a single thing. but I took comfort in that I'd never have to know any of that topic. NEVER.
ten years later I naturally ended up in university studying computer engineering, and as some of you might know, I was about to eat a lot of big fat crow. - I got several couses of formal grammar in math, electrical engineering, various programming courses etc. and was forced to study all that vile chomsky logic time after time after time. I was scarred for life.
there's no escaping formal logic, in the end it will get us all. repent!
