A note found in my student's Agenda

The Agenda is the book the kids use to record what they do in afterschool tutoring. I recently moved from the site where I was Lead Tutor to another site, keeping my Lead Tutor pay but keeping me from having to deal with the abundant little bits of paperwork and other administrative crap Lead Tutors have to constantly shuffle through.

The Lead Tutor of my new site was my student's old tutor. She (this being the cream of the crop, remember) had left a note in that student's Agenda:

"You need to learn to write more neater, Janet!"

Sigh...😞

All I can say is that whoever that person is...they are not qualified to be a tutor 😞

What is the tutoring world coming to? 🙁😕

This is why Lead Tutor gets more pay, it has to tutor the other tutors as well as the students.

Sounds like you nead a Leading Lead Tutor to tutor the Lead Tutors.

LOL! It's like a tongue twister... 😛

If a Hottentot taught a tot
To talk ere the tot could totter,
Ought the Hottentot tot
Be taught to say aught, or naught,
Or what ought to be taught her?
If to hoot and to toot a Hottentot tot
Be taught by her Hottentot tutor,
Ought the tutor get hot
If the Hottentot tot
Hoot and toot at her Hottentot tutor?

From 20 years ago!! Because those teachers are the ones coming through who all got 'A' grades because the governments said they did, when they lowered the exam standards but never admitted it. Now we have teachers who can't structure sentences or educate. Teachers used to be all rounders who could fill in for each other... mmmm....not now!

Heading for anarchy in 20 years??.... My guess is , "probably so!".. 🙁

Yep. I'm here to do my best to save it. When California education becomes world class, remember - I'm an atheist. The current crop of educators can't seem to shut up about God. "WHO STOLE EVERYONES' CELL PHONES! God is going to punish you!"

When I had to write on my application that I was caught with marijuana, and I confided in my superior, what was her response? "I wish they'd stop oppressing you guys?" No...it was "I think you should ask God to help you with your problem." Yeah, well, despite any short term memory loss I may have, I can still remember that the orders I'm getting today conflict with the memo I got months ago, that my superior just did to me what she warned me for doing to one of my tutors (chastising in front of the tutor's students)...and I know how to use correct English grammar.

In all fairness, a church does rent my school it's schoolrooms, and they probably do it cheap, because churches are like that. They do care about the community.
