...there was a post long ago when the notes option was just introduced saying i wonder who will be the first to give their notes away as a message. Has anyone beaten me to this achievement??

I made the original post... fortunately I don't make notes so I don't get confused. Was your mistake costly?

I've done it at least once that I'm aware of. I wrote something like "if nxp, then bd3" I was playing Vaknso and his response was a classic...."are you threatening me??"...LOL

I don't think it affected the game though.

on the family theme..my dad, brother and son are all signed upto RHP ..i recently got my son to go it alone, after teaching him every thing i know about chess (1) Dont worry about the horsey pieces..and (2)the resign button is on the right hand side of the board.good luck to him as he finds his own way in RHP!

That's great to get your son signed up! I hope he enjoys the site as much as we do.

You forgot (3) ... when down by 3 or more pieces, offer a draw. 😉
