Yes, of course you're correct. So, what is the actual answer?
Hehe... well, it wasn't that long ago for me, so I haven't killed those particular brain cells off (yet)...

The answer to "How many moles per liter?" depends on what substance you're measuring. The OP didn't specify.

Edit: Clarity.

This was intended as a spinoff thread. I didn't choose a question that had an answer.

How exactly are you going to manage that?

Very funny...

I'm glad you asked how instead of why 🙂

Well, you clearly feel that I deserve it. However, I don't feel that you can actually perform said act from such a distance. I don't see why you said yourself to feel guilty by claiming that you should perform an act that it is unlikely you will actually perform. I mean, now you have to deal with the fact that you aren't doing what you should.

No, the real sucker here is biology. Biology and it's sucking suckers... like octopi.
Octopodes.

All this talk about physics and chemistry in school made me wonder - are those subjects not obligatory in US schools? We had no choice there; we started biology in grade 5, physics in grade 7 and chemistry in grade 8 (if I recall correctly), and we couldn't drop any of them until grade 12, when we could choose to continue just one or two of them.

My only year of science in high school was sophomore biology. I got a D, and think that's just because Mr. Brigham felt sorry for me. My year of high school math was freshman algebra. It was the 70s -- I did take Values Clarification as well as Contemporary Adult Living 🙄

does that mean you can get through basic education in u.s. practically without math, physics, chemistry and biology!?!! 😲 they're all mandantory here.

suddenly things are starting to click.

You could in the 70s. I don't know about now.

Are you kidding? In our education system, you can get to graduation without having learned to read. The philosophy is that even if a kid can't meet the learning outcomes of a grade/course, they should be promoted anyway because being more than 1 year behind their "age-peers" is damaging to their self-esteem. These same "caring" people, however, don't consider that maybe being the only who can't spell their own name when they're 17 isn't the best for the old ego either.

Back in the 70's apparently. Now math and science are practically all that matters.
