It doesn't matter where you go to in the US. If you really want to see a terrific cross section of America just be sure and stop in at the local Walmart.

Where else can you go to see obese women beat their children in public?

And you don't even have to buy any souvenirs.

Wow so skinny women don't hit children in Walmart's... I'll note that

One day I hope to visit America for perhaps a week or two. It will be a budget shoe string trip, but my wife and I hate roughing it too much.
We like bright lights and some excitement night life and ethnic dining etc but hate crowds especially queues.
We love the countryside and scenic beauty.
I love fishing and have heard of big Pike up in Northern NY ...[text shortened]...

I'd appreciate a few words of what you love about the best places Where would you recommend?
I toured all around the US, and Western Montana, and North western Wyoming and Northern Idaho is my favorite, Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, Grand Canyon is nice, BTW if your looking for scenic country, thats not crowded, Eastern USA is not the place to go lol, no offence easterners 😛

Don't come to New Hampshire! There's nothing to do here, expecially when it'd summer and there's no skiing.
hahaha you shattered my wife's illusion ... thanks... I thought it may be too quiet up there.

Stay away from Florida too. I just saw a fly as big as a pigeon! I couldn't leave my car until it flew away as it likely would have carried me away in it's talons! It sneered at me as it flew away as if saying I know where you live and I'm dropping by there tonight. Sleep will be hard to come by...
Same for North Carolina.....the mosquito is our state bird...
