I forgot. My advanced age, you know!
Actually, it was someone else last night who said he was born in '59 and you said that he was the same age as your younger brother.

So, you didn't know how old I was until just now.

Unless, I disclosed that I was 46 during the original flame fest, which I might have; but, if so, I've forgotten and wouldn't blame anyone for having done the same.

I skipped whole pages of that -- someone had to go out to by the marshmallows!

It got long and involved. I missed tons of it too. I would post something and get it started. Come back an hour later, respond to as many of the arguments as I could and then it just took on a life of it's own.

it was impossible to keep up with and I was in the center of it all!

Marshmallows, I like that!

I know -- I spent a lot of time trying to get that thread moved to page two so it'd be forgotten!

I know. A lot of people did. I wasn't ready to let it go, so I kept moving back to the top. There were so many pages, there was always something to repond to.

Alot of people wanted to let it, go, but like Stang, you impose a tyranny of the minority and pick something back up that no one cares about and people, as you yourself mentioned, wanted to consign to the back pages. Way to go.
tyranny of the minority...that's a great line. It's a little oxymoronic, but a great line none-the-less.

I wish I'd used it myself, it would have fit in great with my silent majority statements.

I don't want to start a new debate today, (maybe this weekend); but, if I did, I would argue that the tyranny of the minority is on the other side. It's the bully brigade and it's what Serendipity and I were protesting against.

However; for now let me say that I like "tyranny of the minority"

Yes indeed.

It's a good one, don't you think?
