Anyone here know what the deal is with the scandal where
senator X gets money from lobbyist Y for the specific purpose of
getting a statement read into the congressional record.
What does that mean, exactly? I am listening to a radio report about
the scandal and they talk about that aspect of it but what does
someone get out of having something written down like that?
