What makes you say whoever it is has waited?

They have to log in to the account to use their thumbs. If they then accidentally post using that account, then they probably feel they must immediately delete whatever it was. We see it all the time.

The only relevance "two years" has is the negligible amount of chess that's been played during that time using an account that is presumably for the purposes I have speculated about.

I don't think so. In 2020, for example, a Spirituality Forum troll @dj2becker accidentally used a thumbing account called @mariekeXIV which he'd set up in 2006. I read the message. It was deleted 30 seconds later by @mariekeXIV. And then exactly the same message was posted AGAIN using the @dj2becker account.

I've read the files.

That was an interesting time.

I haven't seen dj2becker in awhile now.
