I've decided that I need a long, long break from chess. So,once my remaining games here on RHP are done, that's it. I will take at least 6 months, more likely a year away from the game. I love chess, but I'm bored, bombed, and bummed out on the game, and a change is needed. So,goodbye to all RHP'ers, and good luck in your games. But,I will be back, with my batteries recharged, and hopefully a better player. Then,as now,you will realize why you are afraid of the dark, and why you are scared of the bogey man. Later, compadres.

After a couple days you were again playing chess here..........
RHP is more addictive than a drug!π
Originally posted by RavelloWith all my respect to RHP, I'd say "chess is more addictive than a drug". I also remember you saying this before (at another site). Moreover I remember myself saying this more than once:-) I hope to see you back after the break - refreshed and hungry for the game!

No,this time I really mean it. I just got thru 9 tough games at the US Open, and I am completely burned out. I don't even plan to indulge in the Forum wars, lest I fall into the evil urge to start a new game.or join a clan again. But then I remember the time the time I wanted to join Gambler's Anonymous. They gave me three to one I wouldn't make it.

Thanks,Chancremechanic. I know you and I have had our differences before, but be assured I have no hard feelings towards anyone who may have disagreed with me on RHP.
