After 69 short years...

After 69 short years I must confess that I'm still curious, eager and excited about discovering each new day. Still love people, travel, conversation, food, all things competive, dreaming impossible dreams, laughing and life itself as much as I ever have. Should I disappear from my life without notice, here's an uncharacteristically concise epitaph: "Boston Lad played for keeps".

If you don't object to a minor correction, here's a more fitting epitaph.

And how about seeking permission from Russ to enlarge one of the many "thumbs down" I've earned to serve as an 'appropriate statement' grave marker. Simply plant the familiar thumb several inches into the moist earth. The marker can be temporarily removed whenever the cemetery workers trim the green grass and rake the fallen leaves, so they won't be inconvenienced.
