This musical giant died today after failing to recover from a fall at a rolling Stones concert.

He wrote Sweet Sixteen and Chains of love.

After joining Atlantic he signed Led Zep and brought together CSNY.

With his brother Nesuhi he produced records for artists like John Coltrane, Charles Mingus, Ornette Coleman, Les McCann and Hank Crawford.

He was a founder of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and is a enshrined member as well.

I ain't kidding, this guy left some giant footsteps.

RIP.
