Just because hipsters like it, doesn't mean we can't...

Oh, and from the wilfully obscure drawer Atone's Cet Apres-Midi La is the best noodly post-rock instrumental stuff I've heard in a while.

I just pop in my atari version of Pitfall II and listen to its soundtrack rather than listening to their stuff

If you say so. I have several dozen of Patton's works and collaborations, and in my music files, which are sorted by genre, it's in the Mike Patton & Related folder. So I can guarantee you you're wrong.
Mondo Cane you were referring to..not the other stuff.

This awful band:

?

Do they even have a proper album?

That has to be some of the most soulless, repetitive, unoriginal, regurgitated rubbish that I have heard in months.

Please tell me that is not your pick.

Do - it might be their best yet. It's the first album the drummer and bassist have been contributing members, so it's tightened it up a lot. And if you can catch the tour for this album, it's as excellent as ever.

EDIT: HF remix UNKLE: http://bit.ly/aXhxlu
