Anyone managed to remove altnet from their computer?
I think it came with kazaa (in the days before I'd heard of spyware).
I now run AVG anti-spyware which detects altnet but doesn't manage to remove it.
There seem to be lots of "remove altnet" programmes on the net, but I'd be grateful for a recommendation...

Post the log it creates in one of the forums that have analysts who deal with them. They get very busy so you may have to wait but they get to you in the end.
nb *Do not attempt to fix anything in HijackThis yourself unless you are 100% certain you know what you are doing.*
