I posted this over at the help section, but unless I'm missing something, shouldn't this be a CheckMate (for my opponent)?

Answered in Help and Site Ideas forum.

Please try not to cross post in future - it should not be necessary.

Very sorry, Russ. Won't happen again.

For those who want to check it out with my game history, tejo pointed out the following - "you can take his pawn because of the "en passent" rule. The correct way to do this is to move b4-c3. If you don't know the en passent rule, check out the FAQ of the help on the site" - I've never encountered "en passent" yet so will check it out.

Thanks for tejo (and Russ) for the help.

I am playing some guy with a 7 day timeout and he has not moved for 8 days. Why have I now not been given a chance to claim the game?

what's there not to agree with? Firstly, it allows people to have holidays or be ill or even just have a heavy week with no time for RHP without fear of TO. Secondly, if you don't like it then don't play any games with it - it's purely optional.
