You are right fred, let's all have fun. Who cares if some one is better
or not! I remember that game when I was 5 or 6 years old. My dad is
bigger than yours, or my bike is better than yours, ect. Grow up
people, let's have fun. If everyone was so worried who is better then
why are you all using these books, and help aids to get the job done?
IT IS TO BE A TESTS OF MINDS, not books or some one elses played

Judging from the tone of your post it doesn't sound like you're having much fun.
Apart from just playing chess, part of the "fun" of this site is engaging in a
little banter in the forums. As other people have pointed out, chess is a very
competitive game. A little light hearted braggadocio is to be expected. Even
encouraged if it's well written. If every post was about telling Schliemann what
a nice guy he is, then I'm afraid the forums would get boring very quickly (sorry
Dave). There's no need to be so defensive. Remember, when you're in the forums,
just have fun!
