I don't get your point. Is it supposed to be an endorsement of the US's political agenda? Are the awards politically motivated? Hardly, so what are you trying to say?

Perhaps that the US is still a great nation, despite what everyone says? I dunno, maybe you can explain. What lessons and what trends are emerging? Why are these?

Of course, one could probably also point out the preponderance of Jewish (American and otherwise) winners of the Nobel awards. Historically I guess it would be high.

I'm American by birth, Southern by the Grace of God. "Yankee" is a "blanket-word" that non-Americans attribute to ALL Americans, unfortunately. I wish that certain states could secede, but I don't publicly support such a move as It would be treasonous, according to the Uniform Code of Military Justice, and I took an oath to defend and protect the Constitution from foreign and domestic enemies. I DO have a problem with the "clowns" in Washington (won't confirm nor deny Washington, D.C.) and wish that we could replace them with a "citizen-friendly" lot instead of the current "lobbyist-friendly" hoard of scum! I don't want to secede from the USA; I just want a better-controlled-protected USA...
