Being in America I've only just heard of a new British band called the 'Arctic Monkeys', and I'm glad I have - they're great! IMO I think everyone should download some of their music from iTunes or whatever and tell your friends about them! 🙂

I told all my friends about how derivative and crappy they sounded.

Better than the usual run-of-the-mill crap around....
They won about three awards the other week, and also best breakthrough act at the Brit awards.

Wasn't there some controvesy at the recent awards when "Alex"; their lead singer, went up on stage with a bevvie even though he is 19, meaning that under America's lame-ass drinking laws he was breaking the law!

The new album from The Streets goes on commercial sale soon. It's no 'A Grand Don't Come For Free', but it's still mighty good.

We do have some lame drinking laws. It's these conservative religious freaks we have over here.

It's not the religious "freaks" behind the 21-year old + drinking age...it's the fact that 18, 19, and to a lesser extent , 20 year-olds that can't handle their booze behind the wheel, killing thousands of innoicent people.....MADD had a lot to do with it, and frankly, I'm GLADD.....
