The royal we. I... Us... Everyone else besides you plebs who usually post here.

It's not why "we're" here. It's all about why YOU are here. And YOU are here to serve US. Enjoy it. That's what they learn in the sweat shops in India too...

You're going nowhere. Don't fool yourself.

This question is obviously void.

Shav, let's simplify...

* Chess players.
* To push wood.
* To the archives...
* With thought.

Emphasis was on "archives" to boot, making matters worse. In your entire lifetime far less than 1% of your immediate circle (of family, friends, business associates and assorted camp followers) will ever have the moral courage (or love) to tell you the unvarnished truth.

Shav, always appreciated the comforting verse in the Bible (maybe located in Proverbs) that states, "Faithful are the wounds of a friend."

Thanks, Andy for the timely assist. Unexpected, mega pleasant jolt from the quote in your profile. Where you been hiding?

The thing is, I did think of you immediately when I read his post, but I couldn't think of a way to work it into the conversation!

I'm still pondering the "being archived" part. Then again, if I'm archived then memories of me will live forever. That's not bad.

edit: But does it mean instead of ashes to ashes and dust to dust, we all turn into ones and zeroes?

Actually, when I first read it, it reminded me of the Crusade intro: "Who are you? What do you want? Whom do you serve? What are you looking for?"
